LVRN Celebrates The Year of Return with Launch of “software by Love Renaissance” Flagship Clothing Store in Accra, Ghana

2019 marked the 400th anniversary of the historic moment that enslaved Africans arrived to America — a year that has been deemed by Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo as the “Year of Return,” welcoming hundreds of thousands and reconnecting descendants of the African diaspora with the continent. On of Europe’s largest urban music beach festivals, Afro Nation Ghana, also made its return to Africa on December 27th-30th, 2019 at Laboma Beach, Accra, Ghana.

With two artist’s on this year’s festival line-up, 6lack and Santi, Atlanta, GA-based artist management firm and record label Love Renaissance (LVRN) also celebrated The Year of Return with the grand opening of their new flagship store “software by Love Renaissance” in Accra, Ghana on December 29th, 2019.

“software by Love Renaissance” featured an exclusive capsule collection available only in stores with collaborations by LVRN, Kids of Immigrants and WAFFLESNCREAM (a local Ghanaian clothing brand), along with local clothing brand Adesua launching their Christ cares T-shirt.

“’software by Love Renaissance’ is a new idea that we at LVRN are proud to launch. We teamed up with some of the motherland’s most talented minds to produce an exclusive collection of wearable product and plan to expand our collaborations with more local brands and designers for the official store launch in February 2020.” – expressed LVRN

Sunday, December 29^th served as the official soft opening for the store, and LVRN announced that they will officially open the ‘software by Love Renaissance’ doors in Accra, Ghana in February 2020.

“It was important that we collaborate with local minority-owned streetwear brands in Ghana. For us, the flagship store launch is a step closer to bridging the culture that music is already taking a lead on. Having a space where there’s a destination for kids to congregate and display their ideas is important.” – LVRN

Stylized as LVRN, the group is a next-generation artist management firm and record label that’s come to manage some of the most popular artists today. With acts like Summer Walker, DRAM and 6lack under their roster, LVRN is shining a light on Atlanta’s homegrown creative community of musicians, visual artists, and cultural influencers.
