Managing a Cancer Diagnosis: College Football Anchor Rod Gilmore Talks Multiple Myeloma

When college football analyst Rod Gilmore went for his annual physical in 2016, he was not expecting to hear that something was wrong.

His doctor told him he had a blood cancer called multiple myeloma, and in that moment, his life changed. While Rod has had to take measures to manage his myeloma, it doesn’t hold him back. In fact, he’s never missed a football season.

Rod joined us this morning to share his story and speak about why he’s working with Amgen Oncology to raise awareness of this disease. And of course, talk some college football like tonight’s Championship matchup between LSU and Clemson
