Midge Exley Releases “Pastels & Prescriptions”

Emerging duo, Midge Exley, have released their second single “Pastels & Prescriptions”. “Pastels & Prescriptions” features the duo’s quintessential pop-centric style of rap with minimalistic, yet sophisticated, production. Originating from a place of deep pain, the song unfolds like an abstract painting as the lyrics and melodic undertones search for an escape from the unrelenting world. Midge Exley’s debut single, “Sweater”, recently released on December 12, 2019 and quickly garnered over 2,000 streams. “Pastels & Prescriptions” is the next layer of the duo’s introduction – one that takes fans into their darker emotions and lends an ear to their incredible talent of painting a picture through their music.

“Pastels & Prescriptions” is available for streaming on all major platforms.

Midge Exley is comprised of 2 brothers who are admittedly obsessed with film noirs and Doo-wop. Using these influences as the basis of both their visual and musical style, the brothers created the moniker ‘Midge Exley’ from a combination of film noir characters: Midge Kelly (a Kirk Douglas character) and Edmund Exley (a Guy Pearce character). The brothers find musical inspiration from the styles of Kings of Leon, Heffy, Beach House, and Post Malone, among others.
