Surfing the Mind of Wazo Dáveed
PORTLAND — Artists Wazo Dáveed entered the music scene with his debut album StarChild that has influenced millennial’s nationwide. Along with his craft of music, Wazo continuous ambition of entrepreneurship is destined to change the world. Wazo doesn’t plan to stop until his dreams are reached and seen by the masses.
With the summer slowly approaching; Wazo is recreating his infamous WazoFest. What started two years ago with close friends and well known artists in Maine; Wazo continues to seek creative opportunities to make his festival an extraordinary staple in the entertainment industry. Like sensational festival Rolling Loud; he’s considering taking the festival on the road; making in impact among designated festival friendly cities.
Recently Wazo toured through popular locations such as New York, Los Angeles, Houston and Washington DC. Wazo is currently seeking new and upcoming artists to become openers for WazoFest beginning summer 2020. This mini tour has built relationships and growth with his fans. This tour was created to build stronger relationships with Wazo’s fanbase as well as creating the opportunity for this rising artist to expand and experiment with his artistry. Before curating his traveling tour; Wazo was recognized by Maine as one of the “Most Known” albums of the year.
Known for his musical skills, Wazo is also know for being a painter. In the past two years; Wazo 
has created murals in Portland and Maine; even being acknowledge an one of the many impactful episodes of TED Talks. Since a young child, Wazo’s world has always been bigger than our present reality. Wazo is ready to take over the music scene; one city at a time.
