Live Sessions with Alabama’s Fire Spitter Posa

Posa, the Southern rapper out of Alabama, just released a joint mixtape, 2 Sides of Da Bottom [Think It’s A Game Records/Warner Bros. Records], with Rubberband OG and the project is straight fire.  The tape is a straight ride through with no skips. One of the hot picks from the collection is “Cursed” which is some next-level *ish following the game infused “Dropping Jewels” from his 2019 debut EP BOLO (Be Only Loyal Once). You’ll probably remember BOLO also being home to the banger “Big Dawg” featuring Moneybagg Yo.

Check the video for “Cursed” below!

Here’s the official line on Posa

Posa was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He is the youngest of four children and grew up in a very musically-inclined household. His town environment, however, was a hub for drug-related activities and violence, which had a major impact on his life. In order to escape the harsh realities surrounding him, Posa began to devote all of his time towards honing-in on his greatest passion – music. Today, the budding rapper is in the studio preparing to release new music.

The Hype Magazine got to spend some time with Posa by phone to catch up with the rising star about his new project, where his mind goes when he’s in the booth and what excites him most about making music as well as what he feels is most important to know about him. Tune In!
