Singer & Rapper Felly Is Inspired By Mysticism In New Visual For Latest Single, ‘Love and Fear’

Connecticut bred, LA based singer-songwriter & rapper, Felly releases a new video, Love and Fear.” Shot in Joshua Tree, directed by Jocelyn Cooper, the catchy song was inspired by a foretelling tarot reading which echoed elements of evolution and rebirth. Throughout the record he dives into feelings of emotional juxtaposition and the contrast of two extremes. This is the second single from his sophomore studio album, Mariposa (butterfly in Spanish). He kicked off the album with a Carlos Santana feature in the lovesick ballad, “Heartstrings” receiving close to 1M views on YouTube.

This video came about after a powerful tarot reading which confirmed this feeling of my spirit taking a new form, evolving and transitioning. I’ve had to be patient going through the dark emotions and be in a cocoon. A lot of people don’t buy into mysticism which I understand, but to me there are many dimensions we can’t see,” says Felly.

Last year, the 24 year-old showed no signs of slowing down by collaborating in:  “Cheap Cheap” featuring Jack Harlow, the upbeat electronic song, “At Fault” with Medasin, and Max’s, “Acid Dreams.” Most recently, Big Giganticannounced Felly as a featured artist in their song, “St. Lucia.”

FELLY released 6 projects over the past few years and raised the bar with his first studio album, Surf Trap. Recorded in Brooklyn, NY, Surf Trap embodies the dynamic and unique sound Felly has cultivated which includes jazzy piano, trap drums, combined with a beach-guitar undertone. The album accrued over 20M streams across all streaming platforms. After 4 headlining tours, multiple festivals including Moonrise & Outside Lands, Young Fel’s energy continues to reign while showing his versatility.
