February 14, 2020 Tyson Motsenbocker’s sophomore album Someday I’ll Make it All Up to You, is out now via Tooth and Nail Records. Fans can stream or download the album, here: https://tyson.ffm.to/someday.

Speaking to the record, Tyson said, “Someday I’ll Make it All Up to You is about uncertainty and change, it’s about being far away – from the people I love, from the person I want to be, from a secure future. It’s about adulthood, an unfulfilled ideal, and the pathway there.”

Someday I’ll Make it All Up to You is the full-length follow up to 2016’s Letters to Lost Loves. Fans can check out the music video for the first single, “The Last Summer”, here.

Tyson’s sophomore release embraces life’s complexities with a balance of both charm and grit as he reflects on a world he’s wrestling to understand. Someday I’ll Make it All Up to You was produced by Tyler Chester (Blake Mills, Andrew Bird, Jackson Browne), with performances by Aaron Redfield (Greyboy Allstars, Prince), Griffin Goldsmith (Dawes), Anna Butterss (boygenius), Dan Bailey (Father John Misty), James McAllister (Sufjan Stevens, The National, Big Red Machine), Madison Cunningham, Sam Weber and Matthew Wright, and was recorded almost entirely live. The project relies heavily on the performances of the musicians and the strength of the songs, not technology’s ability to alter its imperfections. The result is an album perfectly imperfect, perhaps best exposing Motsenbocker’s sincerest agenda to tell the truth.

Tonight, Tyson will kick off a North American tour opening for Colony House. For a full list of tour dates, please see below.
