Yaz Makes Her Solo Debut With New Single “Fall Apart”
Beginning a new relationship is an unfamiliar adventure in itself as you leave parts of your old life behind. With this new journey comes struggles as well, as one would have to learn to move forward to let go of the past. Yaz, rising old school soul and modern pop singer, details her experience leaving her old life behind in order to begin a new complex and romantic relationship in her debut solo single, “Fall Apart.”
“Fall Apart” is Yaz’s fifth single but will be the first single she has released on her own as a solo artist. Layered in lavish instrumental tunes and deep drum bass, Yaz’s voice shines throughout the whole song as she sings her vulnerable lyrics, exposing her truths. The beat is filled with soul, yet lively at the same time with constant quick strums.
Written with the help of Eden Eliah Nagar, Seeno Shahrooz, and Cody Lovaas, the track is a love song inspired by true-life events. Grammy-nominated Spike Stent and Michael Freeman, known for working with many noted celebrities such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, and more, helped curate and put together the finished track.
