Garren Drops Emotional New Visual For “It’s Complicated”

Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Garren unveils striking new visual for lead single “It’s Complicated” off his debut album ‘the new (normal)’. Check it out below:

Garren brings the heat with ‘90s R&B vibes and slows it down with “It’s Complicated” to expose his softer, more vulnerable side. Throughout the music video, directed by Keoni Mars, Garren dives deep into the ups and downs of relationships to illustrate the triumph of letting your guard down and being able to trust one another.

“The song talks about the real ins and outs of a relationship. Everything isn’t just a big rainbow or positive all the time. There are never just black and white scenarios so I just speak on the down times and the good times and balance out with the status being complicated. I feel a lot of people can relate.” – Garren

Garren has been a prominent voice among his hometown city of LA and has provenly carved out his own path in music with a slew of singles and his debut album ‘the new (normal)’ in February 2020. The album has received playlisting support from both Apple and Tidal and reached #101 on Apple’s R&B/Soul chart during the week of its release.

In 2018, Garren earned his first Grammy nomination for his vocal contribution for Nipsey Hussle’s record “Dedication” off his platinum certified 2018 album ‘Victory Lap’. Garren also contributed background vocals to Dreamville’s recent Grammy-nominated album ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III’, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and achieved platinum certification.
