Sada Baby, fresh off releasing Skuba Sada 2 has wasted no time in dropping an accompanying video for “Outside.” The song features a guest verse from Trap Manny and a more tame approach from Sada (by his standards). All the usual dance moves are on display though as the two artists hop around the Bronx. Known for his aggressive approach to YouTube releases, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Sada had this video ready to go just a few days after his mixtape came out. In fact this might just be the tip of the iceberg.

Now under a reshaped deal with Warner Bros. subsidiary Asylum Records and free from the clamps of Grizzley Gang, Sada Baby’s last several months have been more productive. On any given week, the only thing in hip-hop that seems guaranteed is that a new Sada Baby music video will surface. His new mixtape Skuba Sada 2, out this week, is a compilation of all the YouTube hits that have yet to hit streaming, with an official debut album due later this year. But he still enjoys the spontaneous excitement of YouTube compared to more official outlets. “If you put shit on streaming you gotta wait for it to clear, and the labels want to put it on a playlist,” he says. “But I’m just happy as long as I can drop. That’s what you rap for.”

The Detroit rapper is one of the most exciting up-and-comers in the game, bringing a different flavor and putting on his entire team in the process. It’s a Skuba movement out in the Motor City, and Skuba Sada is at the forefront of that. He’s been buzzing for a minute and it looks like he’s finally opening eyes to the public with his visceral aggression and emotive inflections. This week, Sada Baby drops off the eleven-track deluxe version of his Skuba Sada 2 album, adding two additional songs to the melee.Some of Skuba’s latest releases, including “2K20” and “Pressin” with King Von, have been added to the deluxe, which is available for streaming right now.
