Friday 10th April – Today ‘electro-pop maven’ (The Fader) Kiesza continues her comeback with the release of new pop anthem ‘Crave’ via her own label Zebra Spirit Tribe.

Produced by Electric, the upbeat funky Off The Wall-tinged single is the next instalment from her long-awaited second album set for release this year. This follows recent critically acclaimed singles ‘You’re The Best’‘When Boys Cry’ and ‘All Of The Feelings’, which have garnered support from The FaderBillboardThe TimesThe Line Of Best FitInterview and Paper (to name a few). Kiesza says “This is one of my favourite songs of my career. The energy just hits right way, right from the very first chord and carries you with it right through to the end. It’s so fun to sing and I’m honestly so happy that this song exists. I’ll be proud to sing this one forever.”

Since the release of her 2014 chart topping smash ‘Hideaway’ and 1 million + selling debut album, Sound Of A Woman (which saw her top charts globally), Kiesza was forced to take a two year hiatus after a life-changing car crash and head trauma rendered her incapable of writing/recording music, performing live and potentially ever walking again. Having essentially self-isolated for many months following the traumatic crash, Kiesza survived and emerged stronger than ever, after being both housebound and bedbound, with no idea of when she might recover. This experience has given her a unique perspective into living in isolation and uncertainty, which many of her fans are now having to do across the globe.

Aware of the importance of positive energy during these times, this week Kiesza released a quarantined-inspired music video for ‘All Of The Feelings’, whist in isolation in Canada.  Capturing her new found strength, self-expression and determination, the stunning isolation video sees Kiezsa bring her charisma and trademark dance moves to the fore… “obviously when you are in isolation you dance around your house in spandex” – Kiesza.

Kiesza is firmly back in business as she returns as an independent musician, retaking her rightful place in the electro-pop scene2020 is set to be the year that the “larger-than-life” (PAPER) singer-songwriter fully emerges as an artist reborn, with new songs and a fresh perspective on the future.

ABOUT KIESZA

Kiesza stormed onto the scene in 2014 with her impassioned hit “Hideaway”, which has since accrued over a billion streams; the accompanying one-shot video has been featured on several best-of-decade lists. Her debut studio album Sound Of A Woman saw her top charts globally and moved over a million units. Top-tier musicians soon rushed to work with her, and the rising Canadian talent soon counted herself as a feature on releases from the likes of Skrillex, Diplo, Duran Duran and Joey Bada$$, to name a few. The Canadian multi-hyphenate also has a foot in the fashion world, serving as the face of campaigns for top brands like Fendi and Maison Birks. After a life-changing car crash put her on a two-year hiatus, Kiesza returned as an independent artist, releasing music through her own label  Zebra Spirit Tribe. The new decade marks a promising new beginning for one of the last decade’s biggest breakouts—and this time, she’s doing it her way.
