Saved By Friday Release New Single “A Love Song”

Saved By Friday have officially released their new single “A Love Song”. Stream HERE. “This is basically a self-aware love song about words not being enough,” explains the band’s frontman, Cordell Carl McWilliams. “Anyone can say that they love someone, but showing means a lot more and takes more effort, and this song is an attempt to highlight that concept.” “A Love Song”, which premiered earlier this week on V13, is drawn from the band’s upcoming EP, Three, due out soon. Saved By Friday–formed in 2011 in Wesley Chapel, Florida–are Cordell Carl McWilliams (vocals), Namon McWilliams (bass) and Andre Berrios (guitar). In 2014, they released a self-titled debut EP, featuring the single “Crash”. Halfway through 2016, the band then had the chance to travel up to New Jersey from Tampa, to meet and record with Nik Bruzzese of Man Overboard and Ace Enders of The Early November. The result is a 5-track EP called Jaded. Following these releases, the band had the chance to play at Bullstock, the University of South Florida’s annual music festival, and 97X’s Next Big Thing. They also opened for acts like Mayday Parade and New Politics.

Now, Saved By Friday are ready to release a brand new EP, ‘Three’, this spring. The 4-song collection is somewhat of an emotional roller coaster covering fear, apprehension, romantic love, depression and closure. “By the end of it, you may not really know how to feel,” cautions McWilliams.
