Ruben Jabar Jenkins II known professionally as “Rube Boyy” is an American rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is the grandson of Ybor City piano legend Kitty Daniels. Rube was born and raised in an impoverished Tampa, Florida neighborhood and grew up in the streets, which is reflected in his music. At the age of 18, Rube had his first child and moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his music career. After moving to L.A., Rube met model & singer Anwar Hadid, which led to a collaboration between the two. The song “KISS!!” was featured on Anwar’s Debut album BLEACH.
