Baby Cate – Self Love

Rapper Baby Cate releases her EP ‘Self Love,’ available now on streaming services.

The Massachusetts native, who also represents New Orleans, emerged on the music scene in 2019 with the release of ‘Baby Cate: The Mixtape,’ entirely written and self produced. Earlier this year in February, the single ‘We Good.’ was dropped, a song full of memories from the rapper’s time in college before she graduated. Now, following suit, ‘Self Love’ is here.

Hip hop is blended with elements of rock, pop and alternative r&b to make up a unique and versatile experience on this EP. Another project fully written and produced by the 23-year-old, she takes time to guide listeners through themes of female empowerment and positivity. Made up of three songs and an interlude, it’s a quick look into Cate’s journey to inner peace.
