BAYLI is back with ‘Boys Lie’
Bold, daring and hugely talented are the categories in which you’ll find BAYLI, a New Yorker with bags of attitude and style to match. ‘Boys Lie’ follows ‘Sushi for Breakfast’ and despite her own bar-raising debut, ‘Boys Lie’ is her best work yet. BAYLI was mentored by music guru Rick Rubin when in ‘The Skins’, a five-piece group who formed in 2011, and it’s this experience that has stood her in good stead for her solo career. BAYLI has written for the likes of Duckwrth, Jesse McCartney, Baby Goth and more, as well as having collaborated with brands like Nickelodeon, ABC, HBO and Barbie. If not for quarantine, BAYLI would be somewhere between South Korea and Japan, playing shows and soaking up K-Pop and gaming labs – maybe even all three at the same time.
