Dan Miraldi Premieres the Epic “Alexandra Apocalypse”

Dan Miraldi is on fire this year with a steady stream of singles and releases. To tie in with his latest LP “Mood Music for Introverts,” his latest endeavor comes in the form of the bold single “Alexandra Apocalypse.”  This once again shows us that everything Miraldi pens is gold.

The new track currently adds extra life to his music as he is building his ever diverse and unique catalog.

Miraldi shares with Hype Magazine of the song:

“Alexandra Apocalypse” was the first song I wrote entirely during quarantine.  It’s a song very much rooted in what we are all experiencing now. It is about building and keeping a connection while not being able to be physically present.  There are themes of anxiousness and frustration.  In this pandemic, it is easy to feel helpless and overwhelmed, but ultimately it is a song of hope.  That’s why the last chorus is: “And one day we will describe how we made it out alive Alexandra Apocalypse I swear I’ll get to you someday.”
Dan Miraldi is a Cleveland-born, New York City-based singer and songwriter. After releasing four full-lengths and five EPs, 2020 finds the two-time John Lennon Songwriting Contest Finalist on a roll. After years of songwriting, recording and DIY van tours, Dan Miraldi is a musical journeyman who can already look back on an adventure-filled career. He has shared show bills with an eclectic bunch of performers such as J. Roddy Walston & the Business, Nelly, Wiz Khalifa, the Wailers, Wild Feathers, the Trews, Wally Bryson of the Raspberries, Beatle offspring James McCartney, Family of the Year, Welshly Arms, Ari Hest, Blackalicious, the Cool Kids, Fiery Furnaces, and even Wang Chung.
“Alexandra Apocalypse” has quickly become one of our favorite new releases this Spring, and if the current tide is right, Miraldi shows no sign of slowing down. Thankfully because the world needs his music now more than ever.
