glibs Gives Us a Shiny New Track in Swingset
Swingset is a lofi hip-hop single that was created by boy-wonder glibs, who dropped his first LP titled ‘Just A Kid’ aged 16, which has garnered millions of streams on Spotify. Swingset raises the bar for glibs, and discussing the release he explains:
“This song comes right from the heart, so of course there is a wonderful woman inspiring it. Being that everyone is trying to get through these tough times of social distancing, I hope to bring the light for people with something positive and uplifting.”
Born Matthew Bagnall, glibs spent his time between towns in Wisconsin and Iowa during his youth whilst discovering music, citing diverse influences of Kanye West and Elton John. These mixed influences is perhaps what makes glibs so different to other bedroom producers in the US, he’s certainly one to watch.
