Hard Target Announces New Album “Joy Ridin” & Releases Music Video For First Single “All Day”
Florida rapper Hard Target has revealed the details for his new album “Joy Ridin”, which will surface via Dirt Rock Empire this summer. To celebrate the impending release of his new album, Hard Target has released the music video for the first single “All Day” online. The video was shot by Target and Breadwin in Hernando County, Florida before the pandemic broke out, as Hard Target gathered his crew of misfits to get faded in the sun at an epic house party. “Honestly, most of my albums always end up being very dark, angry, moody, and deal with a lot of real-life struggles and issues. This time around I’m letting loose and having a good time,” commented Hard Target about the new album. “A lot of people joked with me when ‘Chevrolet’ broke out last year that I had sold my soul to get a hit record, so I came in with the mentality that I don’t have got shit to prove to folks. I just had fun with it and went in trying to make some music you can pop in, press play and joy ride to.”
Hard Target has been casting a spell on fans with his hypnotic rapid-fire flow and trademark chipmunk soul since the release of his 2013 album “Karma”. His knack for infectious melodies and rhymes that pack an emotional wallop caught the attention of Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst who jumped on multiple tracks and managed Hard Target for a brief stint. With a fiercely punk-rawk ‘do-it-yourself’ work ethic and a blue-collar mindset, Hard Target records/produces his own albums and is an acclaimed music video director known for his cinematic eye. His unique brand of country rap has quietly amassed over 20 million Youtube views on his channel and another 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. In 2019 Hard Target emerged with his breakthrough hit “Chevrolet”, which has since gone viral with nearly 8 million views on Youtube and another million spins on Spotify.Tweet
