Katie Linendoll On Houseparty’s “In The Party” Celebrity-Filled Lineup This Weekend, Future Projects & More

As this post is being written, most of us are still “in the house” right now, riding the same emotional roller coaster. We are following social distancing guidelines, separated from family and friends, and desperately seeking some fun. So wouldn’t it be nice to leave our cares behind for the coming weekend of May 15 2020, ditch the sweatpants, get all dolled up and attend a houseparty?

Well, now’s your chance! The face-to-face social network Houseparty is throwing its first ever “In the House” weekend experience, free for all users on Houseparty. You can hang out with celebrities, enjoy intimate musical performances, dance lessons, group workouts and even get cooking lessons from famous chefs — and you can invite your friends for a private viewing party. Among the list of confirmed participating stars are Katy Perry, John Legend, David Blain, Lindsey Harrod, Gabi Butler, Snoop Dogg, CHVRCHES, Alicia Keys, Bad Bunny, Cam Newton, DaBaby and Dua Lipa.

Katie Linendoll is an Emmy Award-winning television personality, writer and global technology consultant. As one of the most in-demand technology experts worldwide, Linendoll is recognized for her reporting and frequent appearances as an expert contributor for major media outlets including NBC’s TODAY show, The Rachael Ray Show, and Hallmark’s Home & Family. She spoke with me about Houseparty and more when we chatted by phone on the morning of Thursday, May 14, 2020.
