Kid Trunks & Noah Cyrus Release “Do You Know What Is Right”

Kid Trunks releases his single, “Do You Know What Is Right,” featuring Noah Cyrus, today via EMPIRE. A timeless, piano-driven ballad that’s ridden with melancholic contemplation, Kid Trunks and Noah Cyrus confide in their loneliness and heartache. “This song is supposed to be a representation of my pain and the mourning process of losing my brother,” Kid Trunks said. “Throughout the months after his passing, I decided to write about it, and with the help of Noah Cyrus, the song became a completion of those feelings.” Off of Kid Trunks’ upcoming album, Moon, the track is a glimpse into the complexities of growing up and figuring out what’s right and wrong. Listen to “Do You Know What Is Right” here.

At 19 years old, Kid Trunks has experienced pain and hardship far beyond most people his age. “I go through a lot of depression and suffer from a lot of anxiety,” Kid Trunks openly shares. “I know there are millions of kids that can relate to me. Why not be a good human and channel the pain that we all go through into music, so that it can bring us all together and even better, heal us all together.” Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam but raised between Broward County, Florida and Boston, Massachusetts, Kid Trunks played a pivotal role in the emergence of underground rap out of South Florida. Best known for hard-hitting tracks like “IDK” and “Gassed Up!,” which together have racked up over 70 million streams, Kid Trunks has been pushing himself into new sonic territory. On his upcoming album, set to release this summer,  Kid Trunks will diverge from his expected sound and deliver a more experimental and intimate project that’s reflective of his personal growth and the realization of his early influences.
