Nadia Vaeh Releases “Monroe” Video Featuring Quarantined Women Around the World

Conscious pop singer, Nadia Vaeh has released a music video for her single “Monroe.” The innovative video filmed entirely by a cast of 50+ women from around the world who were quarantined in their own homes. This diverse group of women, covering a wide range of ages and races, lip-synced to Nadia’s newest song “Monroe”; a women’s empowerment pop anthem that was released at the start of the COVID-19 crisis. The video, a montage of selfie-videos, includes women dancing, singing into their hairbrushes, wearing costumes, and interpreting the song in so many unique ways.

The original music video plans were interrupted by the pandemic.  Necessity is the mother of invention and Nadia decided to reach out to some of her best friends to see if they would be interested in performing in this newly conceived video. Ultimately 50+ women from around the world would hear about it and volunteer to perform. Performers’ ages ranged from 5 to 71 and included women from the United Kingdom, South Korea, Germany, Greece, and many states in the U.S.
