Premiere: Beloved Pop Trio Pink Elefants Releases New Video For “Blame On Me”

The beloved trio Pink Elefants are breaking into the pop world with their iconic new single “Blame On Me”. The single premieres here first and will officially go public tomorrow May 14th. While they definitely lean pop, the band incorporates modern R&B flair (for fans of The Weeknd) and influences from their alt-rock background (for fans of Twenty One Pilots) to create a unique soundscape for listeners who seek modern, genre-defying music.

“Blame On Me” talks about the negative mental and emotional impact that results from being told that you are to blame for something even though it takes two to tango. The toxic relationship in question made a long-lasting impression paired with a reminder to never seek out toxic people ever again. Taking the high road or the ‘blame’ is how they cope just to find peace in what seems to be a not so peaceful situation.

The three very different individuals who front Pink Elefants hope to inspire others to challenge themselves and take unfamiliar approaches to modern music. Their lyrics stand as an equal among buoyant production and their fans truly don’t miss a beat. Their true passion lies within the creation of the tracks, and “Blame On Me” does not fall short of their attuned approach to true genreless magic.

The audio for “Blame On Me” released a few weeks back, and responding to high demand, the group decided to pair the track with a dynamic video filmed with Darpino Media. The track’s relatable nature contributed heavily to its success; “Tracking the song felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders” says Sammie. With its catchy pop moods and its lyrical relatability, “Blame On Me” is bound to be a fan favorite.
