Tanya Lawrence On How McDonald’s Is Helping Those Affected By COVID-19 & More

While the majority of America is staying home, McDonald’s remains open and in appreciation for the healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters and paramedics committed to our health and safety. On top of that, McDonald’s is offering free “Thank You Meals” to these frontline heroes through May 5, 2020. Said “Thank You Meals” will be available during breakfast, lunch or dinner, as served in a McDonald’s iconic Happy Meal box, in the hopes of bringing a smile along with delicious food.

Tanya Lawrence, an owner/operator of several McDonald’s restaurants, spoke to me on May 1, 2020 about these “Thank You Meals,” how McDonald’s restaurants are taking care of those directly affected by COVID-19, and more.
