A Q&A With CEO Of My Life Entertainment: ML Underwood

CEO of My Life Entertainment and United Prisoner Association ML Underwood has made the decision to invest in his music career. Having worked with artists like Boosie Badazz / Shawnna / Bun B / Juvenile / Ebone Hoodrich, etc, he is no stranger to the hustle. He has recently teamed up with Young Khan Da Don (Co writer) and underground producer MC V who produced Megan the Stallion’s first 2 albums in conjunction with Empire Records. I had the chance to sit down with ML to discuss his biggest accomplishments and why he chose to invest in himself!

What inspired you to decide to finally invest in yourself?

After spending one million dollars on other artists and their careers with no return I decided to invest in me.  You never go wrong investing in yourself.

What has your proudest accomplishment been thus far while working with other artists?

My proudest accomplishment thus far is 1 million streams in 7 months.

Who are some of your biggest influences in music?

My biggest influence in music now is E40 because he always grinding.

What are your goals for your own music career?

My goal is to reach 100 million streams.

How do you believe artists can make the biggest impact during this time in our world?

Artists can use there platform to spread peace and love through music.

Who are some artists you’re listening to right now and why?

Right now I listen all my own music.

What is one piece of advice you would give to up and coming artists?

Invest in yourself.

What’s next for you in 2020. Fans want to know what they can look forward to.

2020 I will be best new artist even tho I been in the game over 20 years as a executive.
