EMMA LEE Shares Visual for Her New Single “Hugo Pinell (Mosh)”

The revolution may not be televised but it may just be streamed with the latest “Hugo Pinell (MOSH)” track from Ugandan-born and Harlem, New York City-raised Hip Hop creative artist EMMA LEE and her upcoming debut album “THE PEOPLE vs. EMMA LEE”. Produced by Harlem and Bronx-bred Tytanic Tracks, the song takes part of its title from martyred California political prisoner and last jailed member of the “San Quentin Six” who spent forty plus years of his now politically iconic life in solitary confinement.

With her sharp staccato flows, soul stirring lyrics, cinematic trap soundscape and self-crafted lyric video-collage to match, EMMA LEE converts rap art from her upbringing with freedom fighters, “socially-conscious” artists and street knowledge. That she graduated with a degree in political science only adds to the depth in which her Hip Hop speaks across lines to the crises urgently affecting communities on both sides of prison walls today.
