Nic Hanson Releases An Infusion of R&B And Soul In ‘Crush On You’

New York based artist, Nic Hanson, has always had music in his blood.  Whether it was listening to gospel and soul as a kid, to creating music in eighth grade with his friends.  With music running through his veins, Nic has returned with the most addictive bass-lines mixed in with groovy guitar licks to make a summer track that is needed during these times.

Having recorded the track in the winter a couple of years ago, the soul induced track is all about two people being into each other as they try to figure out everything.  Nic puts the feeling of the track perfectly where he talks about the track being  “like the feeling you get when you first have a crush on somebody, like the butterflies in your stomach.”.

The feeling of euphoria is here to stay throughout the track as once Nic starts rapping, the beats and guitar licks are subdued to a point where the bass-lines are still flowing.  The harmonies provided are the best way to listen over and over again as the producer has created a track so good, it has to be listened to constantly.

The clean-cut transitions between Nic’s soulful vocals to mellow, but open raps is the linguist’s way of showing off.  This newest creation from Nic is just a taste of what’s to come.

You can listen to the new track below!
