Per$ia is now known as Dorsa Lena

Dorsa Lena is an Iranian-Canadian singer/songwriter & rapper. As a child, she had a love for the performing arts, musical theatre, and poetry. Her musical influences include artists such as Rihanna, Jhené Aiko, and Megan Thee Stallion. She was inspired by strong female industry titans such as these to follow her passion for creating music for mass audiences. She started her career as Per$ia, before her recent name change to Dorsa Lena. Her musical range is extensive in terms of genre, from catchy melodies to soft RnB, to lyrical rap. Her artistic versatility debunks the narrative that female artists must choose between soft femininity and assertive control. She has a multitude of experience with live performances, having been invited to perform alongside artists such as Young M.A. and Tyga. Dorsa Lena has multiple song releases and music video launches scheduled for 2020, and her future looks bright as she continues to expand into international markets.
