Premiere: Contemporary World Music Artist Desperado Orchestra Releases Savvy Blend Of Funk, Soul, And Disco On New Single “Just Dancin’”

We have the pleasure to announce that Hawaii-based Contemporary World Music artist Desperado Orchestra is releasing a new single titled “Just Dancin’.” The sophisticated fusion of funk, soul, and disco he has concocted for us is simply breathtaking on all levels, and displays his immense artistry at creating genre expanding music that propelled the success of his previous singles, “Outer Space” and “People Say”.

This two-artist project was formed in 2010, by multi-instrumentalists J. Lawson and Elizabeth Fong. The skilled duo have reimagined the African roots of American popular music in a modern era. Known for pushing the boundaries of traditional soul, blues, and funk, with a deeply personal mix of world music sonorities and electronic sounds, J. Lawson is a passionate individual dedicating his time to teaching and creating music that heals the souls, hearts, and minds, of those in need of a push during the turbulent times we are going through in the world.

“Just Dancin’” has all the ingredients to become an international hit, thanks to the unique energy and rich vibes it distills, and will strengthen Desperado Orchestra’s status as one of today’s most inspiring contemporary world music artists.
