Teenear Returns With The Powerful New Single ‘Free’

During these weird times it’s important to speak up and have your voice heard, this is what singer-songwriter Teenear is bringing the table in her new track ‘Free’

The Miami native returns with a powerful statement throughout the track ‘Free’, a riveting ode to the Black Lives Matter movement taking place in the United States.  There are many lyrics that hit hard, but in this new effort we have the open lyricism that is  ‘I refuse to live my life in fear / I found the strength in me to just go head’ and kick down that door and say, GO BE FREE!’.

The new anthem is something to admire as the R&B singer has spent the last several years creating a discography of uplifting singles and remixes.  She’s drawn on the likes of SZA and Rihanna, which is clear to see when the likes of Billboard and Vibe are calling her inspirational.

The new track and visual represents a response to the protests that have swelled across the United States where protesters have come up against brutal and often heavy-handed tactics by law enforcement. And yet, the movement continues to grow. ‘Free!’ aims to highlight injustice as well as the perseverance and strength of black people in times of struggle.

To close this off it’s important to hear what Teenear feels about this track, “I hope this song serves an uplifting anthem to all who listen. We won’t be silent anymore!”
