The Virtual Songwriters Circle is back this June
After a string of sell-out shows at London’s Roundhouse, The Songwriters Circle went virtual in April, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It brings to people’s homes, some of the world’s most respected songwriters who perform songs we love in their unique voices, in a relaxed and acoustic setting from their home studios and all proceeds are going to the infamous Bluebird Cafe, Nashville,USA – one of the world’s preeminent listening rooms.
The next session will be co-hosted by Nashville based hitmaker and ex BMI VP Jeff Cohen and the London-born singer-songwriter Riva Taylor. And, will feature Shy Carter who has penned hits for Meagan Trainor, Charlie Puth and Jason Derulo, James Slater who has written tracks for Reba Macintyre and Martina Mcbride and Welsh-singer/songwriter Hannah Grace all coming together on (Youtube) to perform and exchange songs and stories.
Co-creator Riva Taylor says:
‘In this challenging time of isolation, it’s more important than ever that we continue to support this young and growing community of creatives. We hope that generous donations on the night will go some way towards achieving this and that we can draw together and help The Bluebird Cafe, a place that showcases both new and established artists. Viewers will be left feeling inspired as well as uplifted by the fantastic songwriting talent they have watched’.
