Kendallislate – @kendallislate

A brand-new artist out of New York, Kendallislate is a talented singer and songwriter with the creative vision to match. Inspired by the sounds of Summer Walker and Jhene Aiko, Kendall gives off heavy modern-day Brooklyn-girl-next-door vibes. Her confident delivery and fully baked sound make it hard to believe “I Like,” is her first single. The track is an amazing introduction, showcasing her impressive vocal range, compelling songwriting, and uniquely cool vibe. To accompany it, making the most of the circumstances, Kendall put together the sexiest and most entertaining self-filmed-quarantine-video you have seen. You are going to want to check that out ASAP. And you’re definitely going to want to check out her debut project this summer “IWTWIWB” – set to drop August 8th. Kiante Robinson – @krob__

Kiante Robinson is an upcoming rapper from the Bronx. Exposed to writing, poetry, and hip hop at an early age, Kiante was nurtured to become a lyricist and visual artist. Through his music, he shares stories of his trying upbringing and journey, and ultimately persevering through it all. His sound is crisp and natural, punctuated by top-notch boombap beats and effortless flow switches. After dropping a stream of well-received singles, Kiante dropped his first official studio album this month, Know Quiet in the City. Throughout the project, his delivery and lyricism paired with clean 2000-era production makes for a style that is truly timeless. Think Joey Badass meets Isiah Rashad. Know Quiet in the City is already garnering media attention from outlets including Hot 97, Dash Radio, Station head, and more. 3RDBASE – @3rdbasemusic

3RDBASE is a 5-artist rap group out of Harlem. Together, they’ve put out more than 5 projects and over 30 music videos. Their style is an interesting hybrid of drill and classic New York. Both the flow and production borrow sounds from either style to create a new feel that remains undeniably New York. Earlier this year they dropped a 12-song project titled Bases Loaded. The project features tracks like “Blessed,” “Get it Back,” and “Unstoppable” – with production from respected NYC producer, Dizzy Banko. It’s still early innings for 3RDBASE in 2020. Keep an eye out for several more projects from this exciting group out of Harlem coming later this year.

S.Delemi – @s.delemi

S.Delemi is a Haitian/Dominican artist from Jamaica Queens, NY. She officially started releasing music in 2018 with ‘Touching Bodies,’ a spin on Sasha’s ‘Sexy Body.’ Growing up listening to classics like TLC, Murder Inc, and Missy Elliot, she was always fascinated by and making music. In 2015, she met producer/manager, Drollic, and got her first taste of creating music at a professional level. From there she worked to hone her fun, party sound and confident flow. Her hard-work resulted in the signature sound we hear today, and single “ACT RIGHT,” produced by DrollicBeats and SSJ Svrf God. Look out for the “ACT RIGHT” visual set to drop any day, and an EP dropping soon.

Canvas – @canvasfash

Canvas is a versatile artist and impeccable dresser out of the Bronx. With a heavily stylized approach and big production, Canvas brings interesting sounds and concepts to life. A stylist by day and artist by night, this man’s drip can’t be challenged. His latest track, “G Code,” uses these elements to create a fun, relatable party record that oozes confidence. Going forward, expect to see new tracks, visuals, and events from Canvas – with a focus on bridging music, fashion, and art.

Sam Gaultier – @samgaultierofg

Sam Gaultier is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and rapper born and raised in Canarsie, Brooklyn. Inspired by his musically inclined father, Sam began writing and making music at an early age. In high school, he dropped his first song, “Playa (Bad)” on Soundcloud, which was received well locally. Encouraged by the response and inspired by the sounds of Tory Lanez and A-Boogie, he began work on his first project. In March of this year, he dropped his debut EP, “NH Kid.” It’s a 6-track-project featuring well-produced guitar beats, catchy hooks, and Sam’s signature melodic trap-ballad flow. Keep an eye out for accompanying visuals and more music from this young artist out of Canarsie.

Eddy Nicholas – @eddynicholasofg

Eddy Nicholas is a 19-year-old artist from Canarsie, and fellow member of Only Fear God with close collaborator, Sam Gaultier. Eddy’s lyrical flow, deep voice, and melodic approach makes for an interesting, laid back sound. In 2019, he dropped his first album, “UNDEFEATED” – an excellent introduction to his style, featuring piano-filled beats and powerful messages. His latest track ,“Regular” features label mate Sam Gaultier. A change from his normal lyrical style, the new song showcases a fun, braggadocious style over bouncy high hats. Stay tuned for new music and visuals from Eddy Nicholas and the rest of the Only Fear God camp.

PATH P – @pathpmusic

Hesire Lawton aka PATH P (Positioned At The Highest Point) is a Newark-based artist, originally from Brownsville, Brooklyn. He started pursuing music and hip hop more seriously at 25 after being enlisted by longtime friend, producer, Darklyght. Since 2011, PATH P has released 7 projects (3 albums) and performed at venues across New York, the DMV, and LA. For the track “Vibes,” he enlists the energy of DMV artist, Brixx to create an anthem for #GVO (Good Vibes Only). The goal of PATH’s music is to heal, empower, and enrich – a message the world needs now more than ever. The quarantine has inspired PATH to take more control over his creative process by diving into music production. Eager to test out his new skills, PATH is excited to share a stream of new singles and projects. Stay tuned for more vibes and positivity from PATH P throughout 2020.

Austin Poe – @austinpoe_

Born and raised in Chicago, artist and entrepreneur, Austin Poe is back with a new single. Founder of the Zoony Life movement and associated clothing brand, he’s living out his mantra of ‘cutting out the middleman.’ An eccentric artist with a big vision, Poe uses his lyrical ability to inspire his growing following. His latest single, “Greatness,” produced by Dan Ryan is a gritty anthem looking to set the bar for greatness. Having been featured on radio stations and outlets including WorldStarHipHop and MTV, Austin is on the rise. Make sure to check out, “Greatness”, and cop the latest Zoony Life merch.

Jay Hollywood – @luvjayhollywood

Jay Hollywood is an artist from PG County, Maryland. Throughout his early years, he developed a love for poetry – writing his first rap at the age of 6. In 2019, he released his first project, World Full Of Colors, which propelled him to the legendary SOBs Faces-in-the-Crowd showcase. From there, he was back in the studio working on I Just Need a Light – released in March. The standout song from the project is “Block Function,” a DMV anthem featuring D.C. artist, A$HY Black Thug. A fun track laying out the necessary components for the perfect block function and the appropriate mind state for its attendees. Hollywood is gearing up to drop a “Quarantine Pack” any day now, so stay tuned!

Halle Alice – @hallealice

 

Born and raised in Los Angeles, singer/ songwriter Halle Alice found her voice through navigating everyday life as a black woman. The music is a real time collection of her thoughts, emotions and personal healing wrapped in melodic and rhythmic production. Her latest single ‘Truth Bae’ is an over pour of consolidated anger and frustration. Halle says she is working on many more stories, digital performances, and visuals. In addition, she is currently working on her debut project alongside her producer, set to release later this year.
