VEDA BLACK Delivers All The Feels In ‘Call It Love’

VEDA BLACK delivers deeply soulful groove ‘Call It Love’ taken from her forthcoming EP ‘Sad Girls Club’, out later on this year. Propped up by both BBC 1Xtra’s Jamz Supernova and Earmilk, rising star VEDA is quickly making a name for herself as a one-to-watch artist.

Although her sound is reminiscent of the likes of SZA and Anderson .Paak, VEDA most certainly is carving out her own lane. Being unapologetically black and queer, the multifaceted artist behind ‘Thru The Mirror’, ‘Sugardaddy’ and ‘Jim Morrison’ and many more delivers an electric yet intimate rendition in new single ‘Call It Love’. A bumping instrumental laced with soft guitar strokes that carefully traces VEDA’s distinctive vocals.

Behind the pseudonym VEDA is Corinne; a South East London based singer-producer and guitarist who makes music from her home in Peckham. VEDA BLACK gathers elements of classic soul, Hip Hop & 90’s RnB that fuses into a silky, alternative and soulful sound added with ruthless lyrics and a ‘take no prisoners” attitude.

VEDA BLACK – ‘Call It Love’ is out now independently.
