Watch Lourdiz & Jon Z In Cosmic “Ground Control” Visual
18-year-old singer/songwriter/producer Lourdiz unapologetically stakes her claim with the release of her latest single “Ground Control,” recruiting Puerto Rican rapper Jon Z (known for his collab on YG’s “Go Loko”). In the galactic visual, the animated pair go on a psychedelic road trip to space, only to never come down.
Lourdiz came blazing onto the scene with her self-written debut single, “I’m Pissed” (released on March 3rd) and soon followed-up with fan-favorite “Suicide Down” ft. ATL lyricist Lil Gotit (March 26th). Her relentless lead releases are definite proof of her skill and sonic versatility, boldly setting the stage for her forthcoming project, due out later this year.
Lourdiz never imagined music would uproot her from her childhood home, but after an accident totaled her family’s car, she decided it was fate. Though LA wasn’t always the plan for the up-and-coming artist, Lourdiz has spent the last two years writing hit singles and working with artists like Anitta, Swae Lee, G-Eazy and more. Now, the young talent readies her premiere artist release blending her experimental vocal stylings with refreshingly honest lyrics to serve up a brand new flavor of rap for the masses.
