Live Session: Kamaiyah Talks Leaving the Major Label Scene and Her New Offering “Pressure”
Kamaiyah recently released the powerful visuals for her Got It Made track “Pressure.” The Stripmall directed video features the Oakland rapper in an anthem to self-empowerment defiantly asserting her strength against the music system, that in the past tried to control her. “Pressure” is a massive statement about the intestinal fortitude of this rapidly rising spitter who made the purposeful decision to step away from the major label system and reassert herself as an independent artist.
Back to doing what she loves without the constrictions of the machine, which she tells us didn’t really work out like she thought it would, there’s an air of being renewed about this amazing talent and she lays it all out for us in a candid conversation…Tune In!
