Audrey McClelland On “National Backpack Day,” Lands’ End, Back To School Shopping & More
School administrations across the United States are still working out what the upcoming 2020-2021 school year is going to look like. But whether your child is heading to the classroom or the living room for their education, one of the most fun parts for kids is the back to school shopping. It is a chance to show their sense of style and creative flair, particularly with their accessories, like backpacks.
Audrey McClelland knows firsthand how these are so much more than book bags. She’s a mom of FIVE ranging from high school age to elementary. A lifestyle and parenting expert and “chief kid wrangler,” McClelland was a cast member on TLC’s parenting show, What She Said, and was recently asked to be part of YouTube’s Parent Panel. She is also a longstanding contributor to the TODAY Show Parents Network, and along with fellow blogger Vera Sweeney she co-created Audrey + Vera Media.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Audrey McClelland earlier this month about National Backpack Day, Lands’ End, future projects and more, as embedded below. Additional information related to McClelland can be found online by visiting her on social media via www.instagram.com/audreymcclellan and www.twitter.com/audreymcclellan.
