BORN A BADA$$ — THE ORACLE JAYNE DOE STORY [KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN]

You know the great thing about life? We can learn a thing or two from each other. I certainly learned a lot from many different people. Sometimes, the ones I expected the least to learn from. I felt it was time for me to deliver my truth. To tell all about who I am, and where I’ve been in a fresh bold way. I’ve been thinking about writing an autobiography for a long time…but I couldn’t quite get why I was stuck. And then, I knew. I had the words, but no pictures. This is where meeting comic book creator, Fabrice Sapolsky, opened my eyes. He immediately loved that I wanted to tell my life in a sequential art form, and offered to help.

The result is the project we’ve now launched from Kickstarter: BORN A BADA$$. I’m counting on you. I need you. Not just to back this project, but also to spread the love. To help me achieve my goal, tell my story and hopefully inspire a new generation of little African American girls the way I was inspired by amazing women all my life.

The campaign debuted earlier today, THURSDAY, JULY 9th at 6 AM PST.
