Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L releases ‘Breakfast For Dinner’ double-hitter

‘Breakfast For Dinner’ is a double release from upcoming hip-hop marvel Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L. The first track on the project is ‘Staycation’, which features afro-pop leaning rhythms and smooth melodic lines. It’s followed by the more upbeat ‘Litty Kitty’, which is led by a hooky synth line and eclectic percussion. Both tracks capture Breon’s assured flow and tongue-in-cheek lyrics which explore the topic of romance during lockdown.

Speaking of the release, Breon explains, “COVID-19 unfortunately had a massive effect on the planet. We here in New York were forced into quarantine for a few months and writing was the only way I could allow my mind to escape. I chose to spend some nights of that quarantine with a special person in my life. Both songs are of the same situation, it’s more of a part 1 and 2.

’Litty Kitty’ is a song about sexual attraction, that feeling you get when you and your person first lay eyes on each other after spending some time apart. Doesn’t matter what you guys are wearing, doesn’t matter what you guys are doing, it’s what we call here in Brooklyn “demon time”.
’Stay-Cation’ is more about the morning after. Spending that lazy day with each other without leaving the house. Laughing, watching tv, having sex all day, just enjoying each others company and shutting off the world.”

Brooklyn native Breon is making waves in the New York hip-hop scene, with a vocal cadence reminiscent of Big Sean and 6LACK. Producer WhatsHisName, a member of Free Creation Label, provides the otherworldly vibe that lies beneath all of Breon’s ventures. Poignant yet playful and unafraid to explore hedonistic depths, ‘Breakfast For Dinner’ captures everything that’s great about Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L, and we know there’s even greater things to come.
