Bryce Bangs – Midnight, single, July 3

Bangs started his music career in Dallas, TX in 2012 knowing he had what it takes to get to the top. His cigarette laden voice, mean guitar riffs and ‘one hour to live’ performances are the triple threat needed to soar with the stars. Bangs uses personal experiences and stories for all of his inspirations, most of the experiences of learning the hard way. The music itself is a wide variety of influences that range from rock n roll, blues, country, and soul. The genre bending Bangs doesn’t like being pigeon holed, and his catalogue will tell you the same.

Starting with his first EP in 2015 titled, ‘She’s Gone’, produced by Paul Cauthen, with fan favorite, ‘Cocaine Road. was followed up with his self-titled album, released in 2018, and hard hitting songs ‘Chasing That Gold’, ‘Belmont Tiff’ and ‘Taking a Ride’. Bangs has been hitting the road at a rapid pace trying to grow his audience. He says, “As soon as they watch the show, they will be a fan, I promise you that.”

The passion he puts in every performance leaves Bangs exhausted, and soaked in sweat. His newest EP ‘What Are You Looking For?’ is set for release July 3rd, 2020. The 6 track EP includes previously released, ‘I Want All Your Love’ and ‘Steel Crushes the Bone’. The tracks ‘Midnight’, ‘I Want All Your Love’, and ‘Dancing in the Rain’ were produced by Jason Burt, who has writing credits with John Mayer, Leon Bridges, and Paul Cauthen. ‘Wildfire’ and ‘Steel Crushes the Bone’ were produced by Bobby Bedsole. Bryce produced the title track ‘What Are You Looking For?’

“Midnight is a song about wanting to make a change, but always reverting to your same bullshit. I feel like everyone wants to be a better person, but there are so many temptations and distractions that get in your way from making that happen. Everyone has bad habits, and this is a song about trying to overcome those bad habits to make you the best version of you that you can”
