Don Strapzy Releases ‘Different Rules’

South East London rapper Don Strapzy has been in the rap game for over ten years, a well-respected artist in the scene, he releases his latest drop ‘Different Rules’.

With a piercing drill beat, Don Strapzy is a veteran in the scene, combining emotive wordplay with his raw British rap style, he effortlessly flows over the Mikey Joe and HK The Engineer beat.

Having rose to fame with his debut F64 on SBTV which is currently sat on over seven figure streams, Don Strapzy found himself in demand for collaborations, having worked with the likes of Giggs, Ghetts, Fekky and Professor Green, it was his freestyles and countless mixtape releases such as ‘Double Or Nothing’ that really pushed him to the forefront of the rap scene. Formerly known as Dru Blu, he decided to take a break from music and returned to the scene as Don Strapzy in 2017 with a bang, realizing he can be true to himself and create something he is proud of.

Not only does he have a passion for music, he has seen viral success with his Sunday league football team, SE Dons, starting out putting on free sessions for kids in the local community, he started to vlog the progress in 2017 with around 2k subscribers which quickly rose to 173k and over 2.5million views per month.

With an EP in the works, it’s his palpable energy and significant passion for music that shines through in his work, a lover of music in all it’s forms, Don Strapzy says ‘ I don’t really know what direction I’m headed in, “I’m just trying to make sure everything I do and say and speak about, I mean it and it’s authentic and people can believe what I’m saying. I’m just excited about the future and trying to be the best version of myself.”
