Emanuel Is The First Canadian Artist To Cover Spotify’s On The Radar campaign

Canadian R&B artist, Emanuel, is a part of the Spotify campaign that is all about helping emerging artists, but is also a part of Apple Music’s ‘Beats Of The Week’ so it’s been a fun ride for the talented artist.

For an emerging artist to be working with Spotify like this and to be featured in Apple Music, it really just goes to show how important Emanuel’s music is to the world.

Spotify announced its emerging artists program in Canada, RADAR, on July 8th, which rolled out globally earlier this year. It represents Spotify’s commitment to emerging artists across all stages of their development, in order to help them deepen their connection to new and existing audiences.

The creative artist released his first E.P ‘Session 1: Disillusion’ on Juneteenth and it’s an E.P that reflects who Emanuel is as an artist and human being.  Lyricism that delves deep into the connection and therapeutic power of music has on the artist but also celebrates freedom, hope and love, which is why Emanuel is the perfect candidate for this program.

On being chosen as the Spotify RADAR emerging Canadian artist, Emanuel said,

“I recently dropped Session 1: Disillusion – my first EP – which is all about love, healing, renaissance, dedication and defiance. We’re going through transitions and as artists, it’s important for us to use our art to create deeper connections and show our commitment to our communities. When Spotify approached me to be RADAR’s first Canadian emerging artist, I was super honoured and I am so proud to be able to bring my fans further into my world, especially as human connections change and reflect the times we are living through. Let this love in music be your Alt Therapy.”
