Kid Trunks & Mikey More Release “IDKWGO” Video

Kid Trunks releases his Pulp Fiction-inspired music video for “IDKWGO,” featuring buzzing Broward County lyricist Mikey More. Co-directed by Kid Trunks and frequent collaborator WINCHOZ, the video draws inspiration from the most memorable scenes in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 classic film. The song’s sleek, retro instrumental is produced by Bijan Amir and offers the perfect soundtrack for the night’s events. “IDKWGO,” an acronym for “I don’t know what’s going on,” is a fan-favorite from Kid Trunks’ debut album, Moon, which released June 25th via EMPIRE.

More than two years in the making, Moon released last month and solidified Kid Trunks as one of Florida’s most dynamic and versatile young artists. The 17-track project is a genre-spanning collection of songs that narrate Kid Trunks’ self-realizing journey through formidable and profoundly trying moments, including the loss of his best friend and his own battles with depression and anxiety. “I hope this project can aid or cure any depression or negative energy in your life,” Kid Trunks says, and by revealing his pain, love, and emotions he hopes listeners will feel less alone. Featuring collaborations with Travis Barker, Noah Cyrus, Bass Santana, John Cunningham and more, Moon has already racked up more than three million streams. Last week, Kid Trunks took to social media to announce that a deluxe version of the album is on the way.
