Mercedes Kilmer On Her New Film “Paydirt,” Working With Father Val, Upcoming Projects & More

In the new movie Paydirt, a parolee teams up with his old crew determined to find a buried bag of cash stolen 5 years ago from a DEA bust gone bad, while being tracked by a retired sheriff. Paydirt — which its theaters, on VOD and Digital HD on August 7, 2020 — was written and directed by Christian Sesma (Vigilante Diaries, The Night Crew) and stars Luke Goss (The Hard Way, Hellboy II, Blade II), Val Kilmer (The Doors, Heat, Tombstone), Mike Hatton (Green Book, Vigilante Diaries) and Mercedes Kilmer; Paydirt marks the feature film debut for Mercedes Kilmer, a prolific actress in the theatrical world.

As embedded below, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mercedes Kilmer via Zoom on July 31, 2020 about Paydirt, life beyond acting and plenty more. Additional on Kilmer can be found online at www.instagram.com/mercedeskilmer, while more on Paydirt is online at www.darkstarpics.com.
