Osana AD Produces Honest Feelings In New Track ‘Classy’

With the current climate being tough and political issues remaining the main topic of conversation, Osana AD says exactly how your average joe feels and in the track ‘Classy’ shares his own personal experiences.

Originating from Nigeria, Osana AD has released ‘Classy’ a track full of cinematic sounds and brings an Afrobeat feel to complete the track. Moving to Leicester at the age of seventeen, Now twenty-five – Osana AD is helping the development of Afro Pop in the U.K and it’s clear to see how passionate he is about the genre.

Osana AD blends together the Afrobeat and Afropop feels as well as being an artist who tells it how it is, with the ideology of rap music has always been about telling people news and and his music combines the messages of desire and pain whilst having an influence of alternative rock.

Having grown up being inspired by the likes of Fela Kuti, 2face, The Choc Boys (Jesse Jagz, M.I. Abaga, Ice Prince), Osana AD’s sound has morphed to include influences such as alternative rock with both elements combining to convey messages which are not the usual love and heartbreak but a more primal, desire and pain.

Whilst political issues still remain part of his make-up as an artist, Osana AD is retaining the vibrancy and urgency of Afro Pop, whilst adapting to issues locally and communicating to fans across the musical spectrum regardless of their background.
