Barli Shows Off Her Dynamic Style In New E.P ‘Someday All This Pain Will Be Useful’

London based artist, Barli, knows how to weave melodic tones in her music, but in this E.P it’s much more complex and emotional, which is where she shines the most.

The moment she announced her music into the world, it was clear to see the mixture of soul and electric soundscapes were unique and a case to re-define her sound and genre of choice.  Since the beautifully hypnotic ‘Pebbles’ Barli has not disappointed with consistent new music that re-defines her genre of choice.

The talented artist has always been one to play a part in important areas in the creative industries, which is where her time spending time in the studio with Duran Duran comes into play.  She contributed backing vocals on the band’s forthcoming album, but the rest of the sessions were delayed due to the COVID-19 lockdown but it wasn’t all over for the songstress.

The focus was solely on this three-track E.P with two goals in mind, one goal was to offer some light during these tough times and another goal was to produce a positive outlook on life in general.

The influences of Gil Scott Heron has been so important to Barli, but the heavy guitar influence and chilled ballads in this new E.P has come from the creatives way of perfecting every section of her sound to allow for some clean-cut production.

This new effort from Barli is a collection of open lyricism and addictive vocals, which teaches an important lesson – that someday all this pain is about enduring and living life lessons, hope and promise.
