Sombody’s Child Offers Nostalgic Feelings In New Single ‘Hold Me Like You Wanna’

Over the last two years, Dublin’s very own, Somebody’s Child, has cemented his place in the Irish music scene with the critically acclaimed E.P ’20-Something’ creating all the buzz around this young talent.

After performing at the Late Late show, 3 Arena support-slot, charting 13th in the official homegrown Irish charts and with over a million streams later, the young Dubliner is taking over and has done more than enough to make his mark.

Somebody’s Child has released a brand new single entitled ‘Hold Me Like You Wanna’ and it’s quite the offering as he tackles personal and political issues whilst being honest about mental health struggles.  He talks about how it triggers the feelings of regret and lack of regret at the same time, a love song that’s not necessarily about love.

This new release is taken from his upcoming EP, ‘20-Something’, which will be released on the 7th of August, where the artist and his band have come from all different types of musical backgrounds, which has led to different sounds developing at high speed paces.

Determined to spread his sound, Somebody’s Child is an artist that won’t shy away from the tough conversations and is one to have your eyes on.
