Breakthrough Pop-Funk-Soul Singer Art Auré Inspires On “Keep On,” Timely and Timeless New Single

On her moving new single, “Keep On,” fast emerging, powerhouse singer Art Auré wrote and co- produced an uplifting track that is both personal and universal, extremely timely yet timeless in its emotional heft and inspiring message of positivity, hope and tolerance. “Keep On,” out now on all platforms, is from Art’s forthcoming debut expected later this year.

Released against an unprecedented, pressure-cooker backdrop of civil outrage, protest and a global pandemic, Art’s message of self-empowerment was born from an intensely personal journey yet has global appeal. “Keep On” is optimistic yet realistic. The song, and Art’s captivating, passionate vocals, is what is needed today and in the future. “Keep On” is the soundtrack to 2020 and beyond.

“Keep On” is about to explode into the mainstream: the group Black Women for Biden has selected the single as its theme song for its GenZ/Millennials events leading up to the November presidential election. While not written with politics and social issues in mind, Art’s is thrilled with the song’s positioning as a widespread message of hope. She believes that, in the words of the late, great Nina Simone, “The artist’s duty is to reflect the times- and “Keep On.”

A classically trained vocalist-songwriter who graduated from the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC, Art’s merges her breathtakingly beautiful voice with a brilliant fusion of pop, funk, and soul, taking listeners on an emotional voyage.

Art is a Washington, DC native who in 2019 was a featured artist at an event highlighting Mayor Muriel Bowser’s 202Creates residency program celebrating the city’s creative culture – Art’s participated in the residency. She has prepared for her own well-deserved spotlight by opening for and learning from such superstars as Kanye West, Miguel, Faith Evans and many more.

Look for her highly anticipated as-yet untitled debut record later this year. The diverse album features a worldwide roster of musicians and includes horns, a 25-piece string orchestra and more. Topping it all is Art’s singular vocals and lyrics, setting the stage for today’s struggles and tomorrow’s triumphs.  Keep On indeed.
