Chelsea Collins x 24kGoldn – “Water Run Dry”

Chelsea Collins is a captivating pop star with a hypnotic presence, whether she’s the center of attention or working behind the scenes as a songwriter and producer. The Bay Area-born, LA-based songstress has created a sonic universe that’s both whimsical and refined. After her recent Nat King Cole-inspired “Used to be (L.O.V.E.)” served as the soundtrack for over 31k TikToks, she’s teamed up with 24kGoldn, also of TikTok popularity for his songs “CITY OF ANGELS” and “Valentino”, for the sensual and edgy track “Water Run Dry.”

The video, directed by Roxana Baldovin (Doja Cat), Collins is transformed into a Barbie-inspired, made-to-perfection doll, whose life in the dollhouse doesn’t quite fit that narrative. “Water Run Dry” is a pre-breakup track with Collins questioning where things went wrong and how she dreams to mend them. In a haunting chorus she sings, “there’s no good in goodbye,” a sentiment emphasized through romance scenes at home with her collab co-star, 24kGoldn.
