Devale & Khadeen Ellis On “Back To School” Shopping, Foot Locker, Future Plans, Hofstra & More

Khadeen and Devale Ellis are the Webby Award-winning co-hosts of the Dead Ass With Khadeen & Devale podcast — which is set for a 4th season — and the creators, producers and stars of the viral social sitcom The Ellises, which documents their lives as young millennial parents. Devale Ellis is also notably a former NFL player turned actor who is currently a series regular on Tyler Perry’s Sistas, while also having a recurring role in the Netflix series, It’s Bruno. Meanwhile, Khadeen Ellis is also the producer and host of a new buzzed-about, woman-centric social show, Ok Kay Kay.

While Khadeen and Devale Ellis may be celebrities, they are no different from all the other parents out there juggling work responsibilities while helping prepare their kids for the upcoming school year. But one thing hasn’t changed, kids always get excited about: back to school shopping. Kids just want to show off their new purchases, whether in class or on-camera. But parents need to prepare their children for both of those settomgs, as well as for activities outside of their school.
