Dot Cromwell drops futuristic new single ‘Me Ova U’

Philadelphia artist Dot Cromwell returns with new single ‘Me Ova U’, out August 14 via his co-owned imprint Milllion Watts Music Group.

Tackling themes of love, rage and isolation, ‘Me Ova U’ is a futuristic hip-hop track that sees Cromwell flex his smooth vocal prowess amidst warm, fluttering synths and downbeat instrumentation. Produced by BLVK MVGK  and mixed and mastered by Matty Harris, the tracks adds to his catalogue of singles ‘Ghost Ride’, ‘Saint Jameson’ and ‘Puff Shit’ released in 2020.

‘Me Ova U’ is the follow up to ‘God Bless’ which caught the eye of Pharrell and was included in his compilation i am OTHER, Vol. 1, released via Soundcloud after receiving 25k+ submissions. The compilation was hand picked by Pharrell himself, created to share music inspired by the moment; the strangeness, sadness and sense of displacement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently residing in Brooklyn NY, Dot co-founded the creative arts society known as Milllion Watts, a collaborative project owned/created by Dot and his partner DioMara. Milllion Watts aims to provide a platform for up and coming artists of color. From producing events with live performance opportunities, collaborating with brands, sharing resources, Dot looks to play his part and in building and sustaining the Black Economy.

Dot Cromwell is dedicated to bringing his music to the forefront of popular culture. Following the debut of his latest project Full Of Sin, the Philly native continues to set the bar high, pairing undeniable rhymes with illustrious beats.

With ‘Me Ova U’ marking his fifth single release of 2020, Dot Cromwell is proving that lockdown is no barrier for creating boundary-pushing music.
