Johnny Lugo aka J Flex is back with his latest single “We Do What We Want.” The Boston rapper is best known for his single “Fuck Love” and his collaborations with Benny D (“Night Mode”, “Visine”) teamed up with childhood friend D Crizzy to deliver this hit. When it comes to J Flex’s music, the hot beats and catchy hooks are a given, but the story behind this song is deeper. The verses had been in the vault for a few years, but this felt like the right time to release this project. It touches on real-life experiences being on the street and doing what you want. Flex has an upcoming project called “FLEXTOBER” to celebrate his birthday.
